Wizard Skin is experimental software. Use it at your own risk, and do not upload, collect, or share information unless you have the rights and consent needed to do so.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Wizard Skin ("Wizard Skin," "we," "us," or "our"), including the Wizard Skin website, web app, progressive web app, APIs, profiles, feeds, posts, spaces, messaging, media, calls, forms, Pocket, business tools, promotions, points, AI-assisted features, notifications, and related services (together, the "Service").

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Wizard Skin. By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, submitting content, enabling a feature, sending a message, uploading media, creating a form, using business tools, redeeming a promotion, or otherwise interacting with Wizard Skin, you agree to these Terms and to the Wizard Skin Privacy Policy.

Wizard Skin is experimental software provided for user-directed communication, publishing, storage, workflow, creative, business, and community features. You use it at your own risk. We take reasonable measures to operate the Service responsibly, securely, and lawfully, but the Service depends heavily on how users configure accounts, upload content, collect information, communicate with others, use integrations, and comply with their own legal obligations.

1. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can form a legally binding agreement with us and are not barred from using the Service under applicable law.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are 13 or older but under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

You may not use the Service on behalf of a business, organization, client, campaign, customer group, or other person unless you have authority to do so and can bind that person or entity to these Terms.

2. Experimental nature and assumption of risk

Wizard Skin is evolving rapidly. Features may be incomplete, inaccurate, unstable, interrupted, misconfigured, delayed, changed, suspended, disabled, or discontinued at any time. Experimental features may include, without limitation, AI-assisted tools, message encryption modes, media processing, video transcoding, forms and signatures, business tools, customer points, promotions, Pocket storage and sharing, web push, calls, maps/weather/news/GIF integrations, and admin/support tooling.

You understand and agree that:

  • the Service is provided for experimental, informational, communication, creative, workflow, and community purposes;
  • the Service is not guaranteed to be error-free, secure, private, uninterrupted, available, accurate, or suitable for any particular use;
  • encryption, privacy controls, deletion, expiry, private visibility, hidden status, blocking, signed URLs, and access controls reduce risk but do not eliminate it;
  • recipients, viewers, admins, service providers, attackers, compromised devices, browsers, extensions, caches, backups, screenshots, logs, embeds, and third-party integrations may create risks outside our control;
  • you should not use Wizard Skin for emergencies, life-critical activity, legal deadlines, medical decisions, financial decisions, regulated recordkeeping, highly confidential information, or anything that cannot tolerate loss, delay, exposure, error, or outage;
  • your use of the Service, content, integrations, forms, business tools, AI outputs, and communications is at your own risk.

3. Accounts and credentials

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your email and account details current, maintain the confidentiality of your credentials, protect your devices and sessions, use strong passwords, enable additional security controls when available, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

You may not sell, transfer, license, share, or allow others to use your account except as expressly permitted by the Service. You may not create accounts through automated means, create misleading accounts, impersonate another person, bypass invite or verification rules, evade a suspension, or use another person's credentials without permission.

We may require email confirmation, invite codes, password resets, additional verification, proof-of-work checks, role review, or other security controls. We may freeze, suspend, restrict, disable, or delete accounts that appear abusive, unsafe, unlawful, inactive, compromised, unauthorized, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Privacy Policy

The Wizard Skin Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information. By using the Service, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

Because Wizard Skin is user-directed, privacy depends heavily on your choices. You are responsible for what you post, upload, message, store, collect, request, share, make public, send to AI features, send to third-party integrations, or disclose to other users. We cannot control what recipients, viewers, business users, form creators, third-party providers, or other users do with information you share with them.

5. User content

"User Content" means anything you upload, submit, post, store, transmit, create, display, collect, generate, send, share, or otherwise make available through the Service. User Content may include text, usernames, profile information, posts, comments, stories, spaces, replies, messages, reactions, forms, form submissions, signatures, business information, promotions, points/customer records, media, images, video, audio, files, Pocket items, links, location data, AI prompts, AI outputs, and feedback.

You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights and licenses you grant in these Terms. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for the consequences of posting, sharing, collecting, storing, transmitting, or relying on it.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, consents, notices, and legal bases necessary to use, upload, disclose, collect, process, store, transmit, and share your User Content through the Service.

6. License you grant to Wizard Skin

To operate the Service, you grant Wizard Skin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, process, encrypt, decrypt where applicable, transcode, compress, resize, adapt, publish, display, perform, transmit, distribute, scan, moderate, translate, create previews or thumbnails from, and otherwise use your User Content as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service;
  • display content to users and visitors according to the feature and your settings;
  • deliver messages, forms, files, media, notifications, shares, and communications;
  • process uploads, links, previews, GIFs, maps/weather/news/video embeds, AI-assisted features, and integrations you use;
  • enforce these Terms, investigate abuse, respond to reports, comply with law, and protect safety and security.

This license ends when your User Content is deleted from active systems, except that copies may persist in backups, caches, logs, legal records, moderation records, audit records, recipient-controlled copies, public shares, search indexes, third-party services, or places where continued retention is permitted or required.

7. Public, private, and shared content

Wizard Skin may offer public, private, restricted, discoverable, hidden, archived, deleted, invite-only, shared-link, encrypted, or expiring states. These controls are intended to manage access, but they are not absolute guarantees.

Public or discoverable content may be viewed by other users, visitors, search tools, third-party services, embedded providers, screenshots, caches, or shared links. Private messages, forms, Pocket shares, and restricted content may be accessed by intended recipients, users with share links, authorized administrators, service providers, or others where needed for safety, security, support, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.

Do not share content unless you accept the possibility that it may be copied, saved, screenshotted, forwarded, reported, indexed, disclosed, or retained by others.

8. Messaging, calls, encryption, and communications

Messaging and call features are experimental. Message content, attachments, reactions, read receipts, metadata, call-session records, delivery records, media, reports, and notifications may be stored or processed depending on the feature and security mode.

Wizard Skin may support server-managed encryption, top-down encryption, end-to-end-style encrypted payloads, message expiry, read receipts, media encryption, signed media URLs, and related controls. These features reduce some risks but do not guarantee confidentiality, anonymity, authenticity, delivery, non-repudiation, deletion, or legal privilege.

You agree not to use messaging or calls for emergency services, medical emergencies, legal emergency notices, threats, extortion, harassment, non-consensual recording, stalking, illegal surveillance, spam, phishing, malware delivery, impersonation, or unlawful activity. You are responsible for obtaining consent before recording, collecting, sharing, or disclosing communications or location information.

9. Media, uploads, and files

You are responsible for all media and files you upload, store, send, post, or share. You must not upload or share anything you do not have the right to use, anything that violates another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights, or anything unlawful, abusive, exploitative, malicious, or unsafe.

Media may be compressed, transcoded, resized, scanned, encrypted, signed, cached, processed by background jobs, stored locally, stored in object storage, delivered through infrastructure providers, or made unavailable if processing fails. We do not guarantee that media processing will preserve quality, format, metadata, captions, accessibility, availability, or privacy.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Wizard Skin is not a guaranteed backup, archive, evidence locker, records system, or permanent storage system.

10. Pocket storage and share links

Pocket features may allow you to create notes, upload files, organize categories, lock or encrypt payloads, create share links, set expiration or view limits, revoke shares, and track view/download events. Pocket is experimental and is not guaranteed to be private, secure, permanent, lossless, or recoverable.

Share links may be accessed by anyone who obtains the link unless restricted by the feature. Recipients may copy, download, save, screenshot, or redistribute shared content. You are responsible for choosing appropriate sharing settings and revoking links when needed.

11. Forms, signatures, campaigns, and reminders

Forms and signature features are experimental workflow tools, not a substitute for legal, compliance, tax, medical, financial, HR, or professional systems. A Wizard Skin signature, typed name, image signature, form submission, timestamp, reminder, or payment-status flag may not satisfy legal requirements for enforceable contracts, consent, regulated disclosures, records retention, e-signatures, consumer notices, healthcare forms, employment forms, financial forms, or government forms.

If you create forms, campaigns, reminders, or signature flows, you are responsible for:

  • deciding what information to collect and whether collection is lawful;
  • obtaining consent from recipients;
  • providing required privacy notices, terms, disclosures, opt-outs, and unsubscribe methods;
  • avoiding collection of unnecessary sensitive information;
  • complying with laws that apply to electronic signatures, records, marketing, minors, health information, employment, finance, consumers, and regulated industries;
  • deleting or protecting submissions when appropriate.

We may suspend forms, reminders, campaigns, or accounts that appear abusive, unlawful, deceptive, spammy, or privacy-invasive.

12. Business accounts, promotions, customer points, ads, and commerce tools

Business tools, promotions, customer points, QR scanning, ads, and related features are experimental. Business users are solely responsible for their listings, offers, redemption terms, expiration dates, pricing, taxes, refund policies, consumer-protection compliance, advertising claims, customer notices, privacy obligations, loyalty-program terms, disputes, and fulfillment.

Wizard Skin does not guarantee that promotions, points balances, QR codes, customer records, business profiles, ads, or redemption workflows will be accurate, available, enforceable, legally compliant, tax-compliant, or fit for your business. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Wizard Skin is not a party to transactions between users and businesses.

You may not use business, promo, ads, or points tools for deceptive practices, illegal goods/services, regulated products without authorization, fake offers, bait-and-switch tactics, unauthorized customer tracking, unlawful marketing, discrimination, spam, or privacy-invasive activity.

13. AI-assisted features

AI-assisted features may help draft, clean up, summarize, describe, classify, generate, improve, or transform content. AI outputs may be wrong, incomplete, biased, offensive, unsafe, infringing, fabricated, unsuitable, or noncompliant. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before using, posting, sending, relying on, or publishing them.

You must not submit secrets, credentials, private keys, confidential information, regulated information, sensitive personal information, or information about another person to AI features unless you have the right to do so and accept the risk. You are responsible for complying with laws, policies, and third-party terms that apply to AI inputs and outputs.

AI features do not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, mental-health, spiritual, safety, engineering, security, or professional advice. Do not rely on AI outputs for high-risk decisions.

14. Third-party services and integrations

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including hosting providers, object storage, databases, CDNs, email providers, web push services, maps, weather, news feeds, calendar/iCal URLs, GIF providers, video embeds, AI providers, payment or commerce providers, analytics, and external websites.

Third-party services are not controlled by Wizard Skin. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, policies, accuracy, charges, outages, or losses. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

15. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate any law, regulation, court order, contract, intellectual-property right, privacy right, publicity right, or third-party right;
  • impersonate anyone, misrepresent affiliation, create deceptive identities, or mislead others;
  • harass, threaten, abuse, intimidate, stalk, dox, blackmail, extort, shame, exploit, or target people;
  • upload, post, send, or solicit non-consensual intimate content, sexual exploitation material, child sexual abuse material, or sexual content involving minors;
  • promote, facilitate, or coordinate violence, terrorism, self-harm, illegal drugs, illegal weapons, human trafficking, exploitation, or criminal activity;
  • send spam, scams, phishing, fraud, malware, credential theft, malicious links, chain messages, fake forms, or deceptive campaigns;
  • collect, scrape, harvest, infer, expose, sell, or misuse personal information without lawful rights and consent;
  • upload viruses, worms, exploits, code, files, or content designed to damage, interrupt, surveil, exfiltrate, overload, or gain unauthorized access;
  • probe, scan, test, reverse engineer, bypass, disable, or attack security, rate limits, access controls, encryption, authentication, moderation, or infrastructure, except through an authorized security process;
  • automate access, scrape, crawl, bulk create accounts, bulk message, manipulate metrics, or overload the Service without written permission;
  • evade suspensions, bans, freezes, account limits, invite rules, paywalls, AI-access limits, moderation actions, or geographic/legal restrictions;
  • upload or distribute content you do not have the right to use;
  • use the Service for regulated professional advice, regulated recordkeeping, emergency communications, or high-risk decisions without appropriate independent systems and professional review;
  • interfere with other users' use of the Service;
  • encourage or help anyone do any of the above.

16. Content standards

You must not submit User Content that is unlawful, abusive, exploitative, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, invasive of privacy, deceptive, infringing, malicious, or otherwise harmful. We may remove or restrict content that we believe violates these Terms, creates risk, triggers legal obligations, harms users, burdens the Service, or is otherwise unsuitable for Wizard Skin.

We do not pre-screen all content. The presence of content on the Service does not mean we endorse it, verify it, approve it, or agree with it.

17. Reporting, moderation, enforcement, and appeals

Users may report content, accounts, messages, forms, businesses, promotions, or activity. We may review reports, logs, metadata, content, account records, admin audit trails, and other information as needed for moderation, safety, support, legal compliance, security, or enforcement.

We may take action at our discretion, including warning, hiding, removing, labeling, restricting, freezing, suspending, deleting, disabling features, blocking access, preserving evidence, notifying affected users, contacting providers, or reporting to authorities.

If an appeal or contest feature is available, you may use it to explain your position. We are not required to restore content or accounts. We may retain moderation, security, and legal records after content or accounts are removed.

18. Intellectual property

Wizard Skin, including its software, design, branding, logos, interfaces, text, graphics, icons, code, templates, workflows, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or by a separate written license.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, bug reports, ideas, or feature requests, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.

19. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Wizard Skin infringes your copyright, contact support@wizard.skin with enough information for us to identify the allegedly infringing content and the rights at issue. We may remove or restrict content and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

Do not submit false or abusive copyright complaints. You are responsible for the accuracy of your notice.

20. Paid features, subscriptions, and access flags

Wizard Skin may offer paid features, AI access, business access, subscriptions, credits, storage limits, premium features, or other paid services. Paid features may be experimental, limited, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Additional payment terms may apply at checkout or in a separate agreement.

Unless a separate written policy says otherwise, fees are non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and access may be revoked for chargebacks, fraud, nonpayment, abuse, account violations, or termination.

21. Service changes, availability, and data loss

We may change, suspend, limit, discontinue, replace, or remove any part of the Service at any time. We may impose or change limits on storage, uploads, file size, message length, AI usage, forms, reminders, media processing, rate limits, business tools, calls, notifications, or other features.

We do not guarantee that the Service, content, accounts, data, media, messages, files, submissions, logs, backups, or integrations will always be available, preserved, recoverable, accurate, or uncorrupted. Maintain independent backups of important content.

22. Support and administrator access

Authorized administrators or support personnel may access account records, settings, logs, reports, content, metadata, or user sessions when reasonably necessary for support, troubleshooting, moderation, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, account recovery, or enforcement. Some admin actions may be audited.

Support-mode or impersonation tools, if enabled, are intended for limited administrative assistance and investigation. They are not a promise that every issue can be fixed or every action can be reversed.

23. No professional advice

Wizard Skin does not provide legal, medical, mental-health, financial, tax, accounting, engineering, cybersecurity, emergency, spiritual, religious, or other professional advice. Content on the Service, AI outputs, user posts, forms, messages, business listings, promotions, and system-generated information are for general or user-directed purposes only.

Consult qualified professionals before making decisions that require professional judgment.

24. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," AND "WITH ALL FAULTS." WIZARD SKIN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, PRIVACY, RELIABILITY, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Service will meet your needs;
  • the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, private, compliant, or error-free;
  • content will be accurate, preserved, delivered, deleted, encrypted, or recoverable;
  • AI outputs will be accurate, safe, lawful, non-infringing, or useful;
  • forms, signatures, promotions, points, business tools, media tools, Pocket shares, calls, messages, or integrations will satisfy legal or business requirements;
  • defects will be corrected;
  • the Service will be free from malware, vulnerabilities, attacks, or unauthorized access.

25. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WIZARD SKIN AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, ADMINISTRATORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR ENHANCED DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA, CONTENT, FILES, MESSAGES, PRIVACY, SECURITY, OR REPUTATION; SERVICE INTERRUPTION; DATA LOSS; UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS; USER CONDUCT; THIRD-PARTY SERVICES; AI OUTPUTS; OR OTHER LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO WIZARD SKIN FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

26. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wizard Skin and its owners, operators, administrators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:

  • your use of the Service;
  • your User Content;
  • your forms, campaigns, signatures, reminders, business tools, promotions, points, customer records, AI inputs, AI outputs, media, files, messages, or shared links;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of law or third-party rights;
  • your fraud, abuse, negligence, misconduct, or unauthorized activity;
  • another person's use of your account or credentials.

We may control the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate.

27. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request deletion of certain account information by contacting us, subject to retention described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend, restrict, freeze, disable, delete, or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, caused harm, broke the law, abused the Service, failed to pay, compromised security, or used the Service in a way that is inappropriate for Wizard Skin.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including sections about User Content licenses, retention, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, and governing law.

28. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service must be brought in a state or federal court located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@wizard.skin and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.

29. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service, email, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

30. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific features, are the entire agreement between you and Wizard Skin regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, asset transfer, or by operation of law.
